Summer is fading, there’s a chill in the air - but we hang on for one more outdoor daytime summer bash. Cleveland is proud to welcome the head honchos of Detroit’s boutique vinyl label Rocksteady Disco - Peter Croce and Eddie Logix - for an RSD takeover at Crobar. Masters of all things house, funk, balearic, world, and rare groove, their label releases and talent curation reflect their DJ style: pristine selection and impossible not to dance to. 🌀
The boys from Detroit called up some of their favorite selectors to make this party kick. Y.U.K.IKO aka has been digging for all sorts of exotic records for 30 years. Hailing from Tokyo and now a staple in both Chicago and Detroit, her soulful cuts of jazz, funk, and Japanese groove are recognized across the country and around the world. Jarrett Tebbets aka is a DJ and organizer of some of Pittsburgh’s most influential underground events, Hot Mass and Disco Sunday Disco. Booking and playing alongside names spanning genres like Suze Ijó, John Morales, Blessed Madonna, Young Marco, and Ge-OLOGY, we’re excited to see his range behind the decks.
Rounding out the bill we have local support from residents of Say Less parties Delish and , as well as top class dj/tastemaker Le Schlippy.
We’ll have the grooves going on the patio during the day, and move into the music hall at night for some wild b2b action. Vinyl will be spinning, drinks will be flowing - this is not one to miss.
