RYX hails from Australia and yes, his music has nothing to do with India or the Vedas, but I am sure we all like a wide variety of different sounds. 8/4/24 - This is a beautiful song that arrived late last night. I was recently watching a Near Death Experience that had been featured on the very popular “Life After Life” television program in Iran when I heard it. I will be including it in my next set that will go live sometime in September.

The gentleman’s name who had the Near Death Experience and is singing this song is Rasoul Najafian and he is actually a famous musician. This song is in an album of his but I felt that that version was far too polished with a big orchestra and all. So what we have here is and extremely rare recording, performed by the very person who wrote it and played on the most simple instrument.

During his NDE testimony he was showing the “Life After Life’s” producer the neighborhood where he had grown up as a boy. At one point he mentions the alley where certain events took place and how it had changed so much, as well as many other things including the people who once lived there. This is why hear him sing about "the alley."

I also want to thank Mr. Amir Alquloob for quickly extracting this song from the full video when I asked if this was even possible. Amir is originally from Iraq but later moved to Iran where he now lives. He told me that he had to learn Persian in order to translate the “Life After Life” episodes into English. So yes, a big “thank you” from all of us for his remarkable kindness.

7/25/24 - Still working on our new show for August 1st. Lots of music to work with but finding the right blend and the right mood is the bigger challenge.
