It took me sometime to write this, last friday I lost my dad and though I haven’t been able to think and express myself lately, I’m finding my voice again. I’ve been choked up but I’m slowly healing. I’d say the last two years has been rough & devastating but amidst the pain, I’ve discovered resilience. I lost my nephew in 2023, my daughter in 2024 and now my Dad in 2025 - each loss a profound reminder of the depth of love I had for them. These were people I genuinely loved wholeheartedly and their memories inspire me. My Dad was a good person and even greater friend, with a heart that loved without condition if he liked you he loved you. He was able to read your character really fast, offering guidance with a simple yah or nah. And I was a good listener, grateful for the wisdom he shared.
