This summer, my sons (ages 3 & 5) and I recorded most of the songs we've written spontaneously over the past few years: kid stuff, living abroad, routines, Finnish holidays, domestic life, field recordings, foods, a lullaby. We've been singing these songs (primarily choruses) around the house nearly every day for years.

Not an official follow-up to 2014's "Flying Scroll Flight Control" LP, this is just a tiny family side-project while I juggle family life with tape experiments for Half-handed Cloud's 7th LP in my spare time. Also, this "I Don't Have A Bib" LP probably won't be included on a coming (someday) Half-handed Cloud singles compilation, Vol. 2.

Profits support our kids' preschool (etc) fees (thanks!).

songwriter John Van Deusen (from Anacortes, WA) in Helsinki in 3 weeks. It's at the Arkadia International Bookshop, is free, and only lasts from 6pm-7pm, so be very prompt if you happen to live in Helsinki or be visiting for the show.
