We’re excited to share a short video showing how we create sounds for video games. This time, we took a gameplay segment from Mortal Kombat 1 and designed the sound for several of Sub-Zero’s skills.

To achieve this, we recorded various vegetables and pasta using our favorite microphone, the Sanken CO-100 (with a stereo image provided by a pair of Neumann 185), and used different morphing techniques to create unique sound design.

We’re excited to share that in recent years our team has been actively working on Acecraft by MOONTON Games!

We composed dozens of jazz-inspired melodies, paying tribute to the iconic cartoons of the 1940s–50s. Our team also crafted a unique sound design styled after the golden age of animation.

It was an absolute blast working on so many animations and cutscenes, where music had to be perfectly synchronized with what was happening on screen. One of those examples can be seen here:

This time, we’re presenting a small sound redesign from the game Wuthering Waves.

This piece was created by one of our junior sound designers as a way to practice and refine sound design skills. In this scene, you’ll see the main character battling monsters, and our junior designer aimed to capture the dynamics and effects of the fight. Not bad for a first attempt!

Since many of our projects are under NDA, we’re sharing a series of sound redesigns to showcase our abilities in sound production. We have great respect for the original sound design of these games and are happy to share our own vision. Stay tuned and enjoy!
