SEASON 4 CASE UPDATE: The man identified by police using DNA as South Florida's Pillowcase Ra**st has been convicted in a second attack. It took a jury two hours of deliberations to decide that Robert Koehler broke into the home of a 22-year-old woman in southwest Miami-Dade County in 1984, tied her up, and r***d her. Koehler was already sentenced to 17 years in prison after his first conviction, and he'll be sentenced in the second case in late November.

CASE UPDATE: New charges against Florida's **st have been filed in Miami-Dade County.

DNA taken from Robert Eugene Koehler matched samples taken from an attack that took place more than 40 years ago. The charges, filed last week, allege that at 10:45 p.m. on Feb. 5, 1985, during the height of the Pillowcase Ra**st's attacks, Koehler used a ladder to climb into the second-floor window of an apartment in Pinecrest in southern Dade County.

He ambushed a 19-year-old woman while she was in bed, dragged her into another room where he r***d her, then bound her with a telephone cord and robbed her of $60. This is the third attack in the county that Koehler has been charged with. He was convicted in the first case and is getting ready to stand trial for a second. He also has six pending charges in Broward County.
