Battle of the high-end luxury future performance EVs. Which is crazier? Bentley’s EV or Jaguar’s Type 00 (that I have renamed Type FU). I think the Bentley design direction concept is even more cartoonish than the Jag. And it proves most of the backlash on Jag’s design may have been provoked by the ads and not the car itself.

The production image of Jaguar's GT EV, a 4-door, to compete directly with Porsche Taycan EV, seems to have leaked. Whether it's true or fake, it looks great! Sorry for the all the pink fans, it won't come in pink. My recent Facebook posts in support of Jaguar’s new design and brand strategy directions (that I have named TYPE FU), as of Dec 14, received about 165K impressions with 800 comments and 1100 reactions.

As I have written before about Jaguar's marketing moves, controversial they may have been, but they generated a great deal of interest for a dead brand. Since the actual product, a good looking 4-door coupe, won't be out for another year, and will not look cartoonish, I think they may have won already. I was proven right once again.
