Day 11 Morning Continued - We boarded the bus and headed for Corinth. Our first stop was at the Corinthian Canal. Then on to the ruins of Corinth where we celebrate Mass and explored. We were able to read from the Acts of the Apostles and St. Paul’s Letters to the Corinthians. I was able to share several reflections with our pilgrims throughout the ruins. Next up a wine tasting at a local winery and then on to Athens for our Final Dinner before departure tomorrow.

Day 10 Afternoon/Evening - This afternoon we arrived at one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. We anchored out side of Santorini and tendered into port there. From there we took cable cars up to the city. We had a beautiful mass in a 500 year old church that also serves as a convent for cloistered Dominican nuns. The amazing lady keeping the church allowed us up on the roof to take pictures from a breathtaking vantage point. After an hour of walking, gelato, and a breath taking sunset, we made it back to the boat for dinner and our last stop. Tomorrow back on the mainland for a visit to Corinth and home Saturday. What an amazing trip this has been.

Day 10 - Morning - We landed in Crete on our final day on the cruise. We had local pastries and a walking tour of Heraklion. We visited the Cathedral Holy Temple of St. Titus and venerated his relics. The main relic was his skull inside of his miter. Back to the boat for lunch and rest. This afternoon Santorini!!

Day 9 - Afternoon - We continued our exploration of the island of Rhodes. Some of us continued our excursion to the old city. I was like being in a medical movie. We walked and toured through the old city streets and had a wonderful lunch at a local restaraunt. Then came time for shopping and mass at Our Lady of Victoria Santa Maria Church. Then back to the shop for dinner and an evening of incredible fellowship.

Day 8 Morning - We disembarked in Kusadasi Turkey and visited the House of St John the evangelist and our Blessed Mother Mary. We had mass there and then headed to the ruins of Ephesus. There we visit the spot where St Paul preached and his words almost incited a riot with the silversmiths that were angry about him turning away from idols and paganism. They lost buisness and were angry. I preached about Paul’s perseverance and willingness to keep going in the midst of difficulty.
