“The ‘four horsemen of the apocalypse’ that tend to predict divorce were all evident in their marriage—criticism, contempt, stonewalling, and defensiveness. Somehow their presence, mixed with the murder/suicide question, left me pondering how our relationships mirror what’s inside us.”

They both speak English at home, calling it a compromise in one of their fights. On their better days, I wonder if it was also a reminder of the place they met and fell in love, England. When I work with couples, I like to start with the

“The more I healed myself, the more I started to become conflicted in my role as a nurse, giving out medication in the hospital, yet at home, I was no longer using them. I wasn’t managing the stress of the conflict well and just before I was 50, I spiralled into a deep depression with suicidal thoughts.”

I started writing about my own natural healing to help others to see it is possible to heal ourselves naturally without medications. I realised that I needed to expand my writing to include many people’s healing from a range of conditions.

“Scotty’s jump replayed in my head on loop. As the details came out in the news, I saw the dark, cold night he was in. I saw his car with the door open and the key in the ignition just sitting there alone and vacant amongst the buzz of NY bridge traffic. I could see the tears in his eyes and hear the despair and helplessness in his voice as he called my Aunt Marion before the jump. I see Scotty’s tall frame jumping feet first 142 feet in the air.”

And I trust that he is free. I envision him singing and dancing with the angels, loving freely without worry or judgement, and I know that he blesses us here on Earth by sending signs.

“The journey from survivor to healer was not without its challenges. It still requires me to continuously confront my own triggers and vulnerabilities while holding space for others to do the same. It demands a level of empathy and compassion that could only arise from walking such a challenging path.”

My story is one of evolution—from a survivor buried beneath layers of pain to a healer who embraces both light and shadow with open arms.

here’s what you should know: the consequences of fast fashion come back to bite all of us as invisible silent killers.

We’re just too darn busy and worried about our own lives to give a damn about a polar bear starving because he only has an ice cube to float on. But here’s what you should know: the consequences of fast fashion come back to bite all

“I’ve realised that there is nothing wrong or bad about being lost or clueless. In fact, it’s a part of growing up and evolving as a human being.”

You don't find yourself by fighting with yourself or the world around you. You do that by dropping all fights, accepting yourself for who you are in this moment, and allowing your inner wisdom to unfold at its own pace.

“TCM believes that the lungs tend to store grief and depression. To release the suppressed negative energy from those emotions, take the following steps:”

As you try this exercise, relaxed and focused on your body’s sensations, you may find old memories and emotions bubbling up. You may become queasy, begin to cry, or break out in a rash.
