My passion is mastering and my love is music. What Is Mastering? What mastering is not, is the gear.

Chris Pavey Mastering has developed over the last 8 years and I have been lucky enough to work with artists of all genres across the globe. The studio where I work is located in a quiet village, set in the rural surrounds of the Cambridgeshire Fens - the perfect place to master! Mastering is the final process in the long chain of audio production. Remember, you only have one first impression with

a piece of music, and a well mastered track will always make a positive impression that stands out in todays competitive music industry. A fresh pair of objective ears applying their input to your mix is never a negative move, and clients are always surprised on the details I can pick up on in their tracks. I’m not here to critique your music at all, i’m hear to make your music the best it can be! It’s about the music and using only whats required to make the best sound possible! Lastly, mastering is and always should be a two way conversation between engineer and artist, with both working towards the best sounding result.
