Christian and Jericho review Akinola Davies Jr.'s critically acclaimed familial drama, MY FATHER'S SHADOW, which they pair with Ousmane Sembène's 1968 gently satirical classic, MANDABI. In the Recently Watched segment, German filmmaker Ulrike Ottinger's THE BERLIN TRILOGY and EXIT 8 are discussed.

First, however, French New Wave films LOVE AT SEA (1965), WALL ENGRAVINGS (1967), and EARTH LIGHT (1970) as well as THE ALTO KNIGHTS and A FEW GOOD MEN get the Recently Watched treatment.
