India (actually Greece) the mother of democracy, used to have a great big party every 5 years where parties slugged it out to reach the Prime Ministers chair and the people elected their representatives as a republic. However, thanks to the Covidiot and his cronies we are slowly disintegrating into a Hindutva terrorist state, similar to the Taliban state, as we are being robbed of the very thing for which our founding fathers fought for freedom: elections.
We are not even half way into the election but several corners in India have reported the robbery of democracy, I have cited a few examples but this list is set to grow.
Surat: the lotus has already bloomed as the opposing candidates nomination was cancelled for clerical causes.
Indore: The BJ Party literally abducted the Congress candidate on his way to filing his nomination and the candidate joined BJ Party on his way back to his home.
Puri: Congress candidate opted out of campaign citing lack of funds. It was the BJ Party who froze their bank account
Gandhinagar: 11 non BJ Party candidates were forced to withdraw their nomination as the BJ Party threatened them with abducting their daughters from school.
Arunachal Pradesh: 10 BJ Party candidates went unopposed as the opposing candidates withdrew their candidature in return of cash.
Nagaland: 6 constituencies boycotted the whole election.
Manipur: locals vandalized the polling booth.
ECI: I don’t even want to talk about the ECI
Cancelling elections is an egregious violation of democratic principles and an affront to the rights of citizens. Such actions undermine the very foundation of democracy and erode trust in government institutions. It sends a clear message of authoritarianism and disregard for the will of the people. Let me be unequivocal: cancelling elections is unacceptable, and those responsible must be held accountable for their actions. Democracies are built on the fundamental right of citizens to choose their leaders through free and fair elections, and any attempt to subvert this process will not be tolerated.
The sentiment among the people when elections are cancelled is that of outrage and a deep-seated desire for justice, transparency, and the restoration of their democratic rights.
Modi-Shah have already played their part.
How strong a fight are you going to put up?
