The claims by Helen O’Connell, Beverly Whipple, Barry Komisaruk, Emmanuele Jannini, Odile Buisson, Letian Wei, Stuart Brody, Adam Ostrzenski, Odile Fillod, Jasmine Abdulcadir, Susan Oakley, Journal of Sexual Medicine/Irwin Goldstein, and others, have no scientific basis.
Vaginal/uterine or**sm, G- /A- /C- /U- /K- /O- /DVZ-spot, cl****al bulbs, cl****al or cl****is-urethra-va**na (CUV) complex, internal cl****is, bulbocl****al complex, pubococcygeus muscle, periurethral g***s, urethrova**nal space, female ej*******on, persistent ge***al arousal disorder (PGAD), genitosensory component of the vagus nerve, G-**ot amplification, va**nally activated or**sm, Female Sexual Function Index questionnaire, Halban’s fascia and va**nal anterior fornix erogenous zone, premature ej*******on, have no scientific basis. They are terms that must not be used by gynecologists, s*xologists, s*xual medicine experts, andrologists, urologists, physicians, psychologists, psychoanalysts, women and mass-media.
The use of such non-scientifically-based terms by researchers and scientists serves as the fuel for the evolution of myths, which are then amplified by mass-media and become popular and well-accepted ones. Some medical professionals take advantage of these myths and of the expectations (or the distress) of women influenced by the myth for their own personal benefit. Sexual medicine experts, gynecologists and psychologists, must use the scientific term “female or**sm”, so women worldwide will not feel inferior or abnormal for not reaching an inexistent va**nal/G-**ot or**sm...
