Gigabit

Gigabit Gigabit is a web application designed to bring artists and music promoters together in order to make creating gigs and finding new talent simpler than ever.

Artists populate their personal profiles including a gig calendar, where they can specify if they are free, unavailable or performing on any given day. Promoters can then search through this information to find artists to cover late drop-outs or even create gigs from scratch. Other features include an in-built message system, the capability to add users to their personal network, a reputation syst

em to rate users based on performance, and a voting system on the tracks of users; creating a chart of unsigned music. Additionally, all users have the ability to embed their personal calendar into any website to advertise their availability further. Promoters get new talent to showcase, and artists get to perform when they are actually free; everybody wins!

Gigabit now has a 'similar users' function, allowing promoters and artists to find people similar to the person who's profile they are viewing! So the chance of you getting more exposure on the site just went way up!
