THANK YOU to everyone who came out to our martini-jazz-bar-at-the-rock-n-roll-club benefit show!! It took a minute to do all the numbers because we had so many generous donations but HERE THEY ARE: we brought in approx. $1K worth of physical food & clothing donations plus $1,550 in cash that was split between and VESTIA! Over $2,500 total 👏👏👏 Thank you to our incredible band the Mae Powell Sextet (💘 .woman 💘), our sponsors & 🍸, the best sound person in all the land 🎛️, Crockett’s resident flower-whisperer (check the slide 6 soundcheck vid for closeups of her work!), neon king for lending us this brilliant glowing martini, all the incredible staff at and my BTS helpers 🎄🕯️🙏 We’re pretty sure it only takes 2 years to make something an annual tradition, so… see you next year 💋

We’re honored to release The Fool from into the wild today! We hope you’ll love it as much as we do ❤️‍🔥 I did some digging into past photos for this post and realized we’ve know Aviva for over 10 years, and that around this time a decade ago we were all playing in a band together, about to head into the studio for the first time, and just generally falling in love with her. To be 10 years in the future and collaborating on this true work of beauty gives me hope for what we (all) can do if we stay committed to growth, art, community, and friendship. 🛸 So go listen to the record! The existence of music carved onto a spinning record and then being transformed into sound by a diamond-tipped needle still feels like the best form of magic & we’re honored to help bring more of it into the world!!

THE LORE: The Fool took its first breaths at the very beginning of 2023 amidst a raging, unyielding Northern California storm - the kind of wind and rain that makes a mockery of careful planning, and instead demands complete surrender. A group of incredible musicians had already cleared their calendars and found their way to a rural, Sonoma County cabin - the home of dear friends & the perfect countryside recording studio. So lights or no lights, there really wasn’t a choice but to trust the process and walk towards the cliff. Huddled together over candles, generators, and playing cards, the songs of The Fool began to take form, evolving from Aviva’s carefully crafted, tender songs into the album’s big, honest, thoughtfully composed anthems. There were countless angels that made the sessions possible, and in many ways the very existence of the album feels like a miracle…

Long Road Society libra season continues with our GIRL, #1 MC, the best mom & the fiercest of friends aka 👸🏾 and damnit if she isn’t also the most fun!! SEASON OF THE WITCH at is one of our favorite days of the year and for #3 we’re featuring this dream lineup of splendor siblings & backed by a FULL BAND with the mad scientist (of sound) at the helm!! 🧪🥵 if you know what any of this good news means 👆 and can imagine this lineup with a lean into the spooky season, then I trust we’ll see you there… it’s an ALL DAY affair, with a market and DJs starting at 1pm, and the live show kicking off at 5pm as darkness begins to fall. There will be a community altar for your loved ones 🕯️, a daytime kids table for your little ones, a special food & drink menu from BVR, and vendors selling vintage, crystals, records, & more.
