Initially an outlet for deeper more atmospheric studio creations Crossfade Sounds quickly evolved into an imprint that is now renowned for pushing all spectrums of intelligent electronica. With a diverse artist roster that includes a healthy mix of tried and tested studio veterans along with hugely talented up and coming artists Crossfade Sounds is now widely regarded as one of the freshest electronic music imprints around. Crossfade Sounds presents the Inner Noises EP from German producer Rheinkalk, a now-established resident artist within the label. Since making his debut in September 2024 with a remix for Seabra Monkey, Rheinkalk has become an integral part of the Crossfade family, contributing two solo EPs, the track LAlbatross to our first cassette release, and a recent remix for Madloch & Subnodes Closing Cycles. With Inner Noises, he returns with four beautifully detailed pieces — Invisible Bodies, Neon Fracture, Muted Steps, and Vapour. Each track explores the space between electronica, dub, and ambient textures, marked by subtle rhythmic movement and an introspective atmosphere. Balancing experimentation with emotional precision, Rheinkalk continues to refine his sound and artistic identity. The latest release on Madlochs Crossfade Sounds welcomes French producer m.n.lith with a four-track showcase entitled In My Heart. Known under multiple guises including his alias Mime, the Tours-based artist has steadily built a reputation for immersive sound design, drawing from dub techno, deep techno and ambient spheres. His work has appeared on imprints such as Standard Deviationn as well as Melotonin, Insectorama, and Liberty Rhythm, while also serving as founder of LOST AREA, a collective bridging underground culture in Paris and beyond. Opening with the title piece In My Heart, m.n.lith sculpts a slow-burning journey, where deep-rooted basslines and airy textures intertwine to reveal a hypnotic flow. The narrative continues with Spacew.rm, a collaborative effort with fellow French producer Ganlan, which expands the palette into darker dub territories, punctuated by subtle rhythms and a meditative undertow. Rounding out the release are two further originals, each exploring spacious frameworks and finely layered atmospheres, cementing the EP as both versatile and cohesive.

The latest release on Madlochs Crossfade Sounds welcomes Argentine artist Nico Cassou for his label debut with the Spoken Words EP. Based in Buenos Aires, Nico first appeared in 2013 on sister label 3rd Avenues We Are the Future (Fall 2013) compilation, before stepping away from production for nearly a decade. Now, after a long hiatus, he returns with his first solo EP, marking a fresh chapter in his career.
