Just days after Cardi B revealed she’s expecting her first child with NFL star Stefon Diggs, the wide receiver is caught up in serious paternity drama.
According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Instagram model and Fashion Nova ambassador Aileen Lopera — known online as Lord Gisselle — filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court back in December 2024, claiming Diggs is the father of her baby girl.
At the time, Lopera was still pregnant but listed the New England Patriots player as the “parent” of her unborn child. She requested full legal and physical custody, asking that Diggs only be granted visitation rights. She also demanded he cover all pregnancy and birth expenses, plus attorney’s fees.
Fast forward: Lopera gave birth to Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera on April 2. In July, Diggs fired back in court, stating he was “not certain” about fatherhood and requested a genetic test. If proven to be the dad, he’s asking for joint legal and physical custody while splitting medical and legal costs.
The paternity case went public right as Cardi B went on national TV to announce she’s pregnant with Diggs’ child, telling Gayle King on CBS Mornings, “I’m excited, I’m happy, I feel like I’m in a good space.”
This comes after Cardi’s messy split from Offset, where she accused the Migos rapper of being a deadbeat and leaving her with bills. Now, as she prepares to welcome a new baby with Diggs, the NFL star’s name is tied up in a whole different kind of play.
For now, fans are watching to see if a DNA test proves Diggs’ paternity — while Cardi is focused on her growing family and gearing up for her upcoming tour.
