The Thread Zine Issue #15 is out and about. Let us know if you didn't get one yet! This bio will be known as the history of The Thread Zine. It all began in the summer of 2008.

And it’s not just a list of bu****it that we’ve done in the past, it’s a chronicling of our rise... to power! Three friends had gone there separate ways – Ilana K. on a mission to assassinate present day Communist radicals in eastern Europe, Steph S. serving as a US ambassador to the alternative rock scene on an international tour, and Sarah P. on a expedition to Staten Island to study a sub-human

race affectionately known as, “The Guidos.” After returning from their respective journeys, the friends decided to document their experience. They became more than mere memories and observations; they became windows into the mind of each girl. The friends decided that these musings should be chronicled in a zine, and after adding reviews, rants, horoscopes, and more, they were almost certain they had produced a pristine publication. Soon they realized something crucial was missing, and after serious deliberation they figured it out. The zine was missing the funnies! Steph, Sarah and Ilana appointed Julia B as master cartoonist. And thus, The Thread was born.
