A couple of years back I was on board the seismic vessel SW Bly off the coast of North Cumbria, filming the crew at work for Shearwater GeoServices.
Here are a few highlights from that trip — daily operations, life on deck, and the teamwork that keeps everything moving offshore.

Spectacular drone flight through the SW Tasman refit.
Two years ago, I had the incredible opportunity to document the full transformation of the Shearwater Tasman as it became the world’s first commercial multi-technology geophysical vessel — equipped with dual ROV capability, streamers, ocean-bottom nodes and seismic source.
I covered the entire refit from start to finish and later filmed its first deployment in the Norwegian Sea.
