UPDATE
It's been awhile so here is a quick run down of everything that's going on.

1. We recently started the festival run for our film "Poison" written and directed by Seán Maher. The story tells the tale of a dying farmer struggling to write a great love poem. Keep an eye out for any updates on screenings to get a chance to watch this uniquely Irish love story.

2. The Athlone Film Festival completed it's 6th year this year. Breaking it's attendance record yet again with a full house in IMC cinema Athlone. We also had five film makers join us for the panel discussion afterwards, they where: Craig Moore, Joseph O'Reilly, Shane W. Brennan, Greg O'Reilly, and Maggie Ryan. If you missed the panel, it's available in full on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/wZrPNkLBjT0?si=P2LTwKYZCIOblatg

3. We partnered with the Westmeath Filmmakers Collective this year to bring a new networking event to the festival that was kindly hosted by TUS (Technological University of the Shannon). We look forward to working with them more often over the coming months to get more events off the ground.

4. Be sure to follow us on Instagram as well, we tend to be more active there posting short clips and updates. You can follow us at the following link: https://www.instagram.com/lunarhorizonproductions/

For the first time ever, we are running a brand new networking event with the Westmeath Filmamkers Collective! This event will offer an excellent networking opportunity, to connect Filmmakers, Actors, Dramatists, Musicians, and any Creative person with each other.

A series of specially selected films will be screened with live in person discussions before hand, with each of the film makers. All are welcome to this event where we continue the charge to instigate a culture of independent filmmaking in Westmeath and the wider midlands region.

So get involved and join us on the 27th of April in the Douglas Hyde Theatre, TUS, Athlone at 01:30pm, with doors open at 01:00pm. Thanks to The Westmeath Filmmakers Collective, TUS, and the RTÉ All Ireland Drama Festival for their support.
