We specialize in film scores from the fantastic genre, but have also released the occasional action movie or drama soundtrack. Although we are trying to get more current scores, our main focus lies on the restoration of older titles, mainly from the Seventies, Eighties and Nineties.

This album features music from films such as "Blade Runner", world premiere score excerpts of "Prom Night II-IV" and "Tom Holland's Twisted Tales", as well as the world premiere release of all the songs from "The Return of Captain Invincible" (performed by Alan Arkin & Christopher Lee among others). As an added bonus: The rejected Coil score to Clive Barker's masterpiece "Hellraiser".

COMPOSER SPOTLIGHT: Phillip Lambro (1935-2015). Perseverance Records released Los Angeles, 1937, the unused score by Lambro from Roman Polanski's movie Chinatown (1974), starring Jack Nicholson and Faye Dunaway. The soundtrack was ultimately rejected by Paramount. Now, this score is available on Perseverance Records exclusively.
Phillip Lambro was born in Wellesley, Massachusetts. He began studying music during his early teens in Boston where at seventeen he made his debut performing Chopin at the Pianists Fair in Symphony Hall. Later he continued his studies in Miami, Florida and then received a scholarship to The Music Academy of the West in California where his teachers included Donald Pond and Bartok's most celebrated pupil, György Sandor.
Lambro was one of the youngest composers ever to be programmed on two separate occasions by the Philadelphia Orchestra. This great ensemble performed his Dance Barbaro for Percussion and the composer's Miraflores for String Orchestra which were broadcast all over the United States. Composer Spotlight: Donald Rubinstein is a film composer, singer-songwriter, and multimedia artist best known for his collaborations with George A. Romero and for his avant-garde jazz and rock collaborations with musicians such as Bill Frisell, Emil Richards, and Wayne Horvitz. He was 24 when he was first introduced to famed horror filmmaker George A. Romero through his brother Richard, who had produced Martin for the writer-director.
