Little to mild for those higher snow totals.
Drop it like it’s hot 🔥.
Those 3-6 areas will likely be 2-4 if that!

So here’s so details for you! Some may change just slightly.
Snow enters the west side of the state around lunch time. Entire state is snow but dinner time.
Eastern Connecticut I’m going with 3-6 inches.
The farther north and west could see 4-8inches.

Oh hi!!! 👋
Who’s ready for some accumulating snow in the northeast!?
11/05/2024
Share your northern lights pics!!! If you missed it last night you may still see them tonight.
Disclaimers, in CT we could barely see with the naked eye. But open your phone camera. Even without snapping a picture you can see them.

These models are crazy. Big number jumps this morning and now showing less.
Schools and businesses already closed for tomorrow. I guess we will wake up and find out at this point.

We are looking colder for the coast tomorrow which means more snow less mixing.
Let’s talk timing.
This is a quick one. Dropping snow quickly then out of here.
Starting early early morning hours. 4-5am. Mostly out of here by the afternoon rush hour. Snow day for the kiddos I’m sure.
Snowfall rates will be inch + per hour. My first call was 3-6. I think I’m bumping to 6-10.
Stay safe and warm.

Is it a miss again for I-95?? The cut off of mixing again is along the coast. Northwestern Ct. you have the highest chance of seeing more than 8 inches of snow.
New London County (excluding the immediate shoreline). My initial call right now is 3-6 inches Start time is after midnight Monday. Likely for school closings Tuesday. I’ll keep ya posted

Not really changing my predictions yet. I know most local channels are saying most of the state 6-12. I just don’t see it. The storm will be out of here by 10am Sunday. A quick hitter with warm air injection won’t have a chance to dump a foot of snow. Maybe I’ll change my thoughts or they will change there’s. We shall see. This map is from accuweather and best supports what I think.
