A wet and windy day. Low cloud and rain moving in during the morning, turning heavy and persistent at times. This mostly clearing by the afternoon, leaving behind a risk of scattered, heavy showers. Gales possible along the coast. Maximum temperature 22 °C.

Tonight:
Scattered showers dying away through the evening and the winds easing. Then a generally dry night with some clear spells. Minimum temperature 12 °C.

Thursday: 4th September 2025
Unsettled with a mix of sunny spells and showers, possibly heavy at times. These may be more frequent in the morning, and clear away by the evening. Maximum temperature 20 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
Drier and more settled on Friday and Saturday with good spells of sunshine, though the odd shower is possible. Outbreaks of rain likely on Sunday with winds strengthening.
