I just got back from an amazing week at Camp Horizon in Kananaskis, and I had the best time ever! I got to sing my song “I Wanted to Walk” in front of everyone, which was such a special moment for me. My favourite thing about camp is that it makes me feel like any other person who can do anything—I love that every day is a new adventure! I can’t wait to go back next year for even more adventures!

These shoes have changed my experience of everyday comfort. They’re always a perfect fit with my AFOs and are super easy to take on and off. Billy shoes are the only shoes I ever wear and they make walking enjoyable and pain-free.

I was recently asked to speak to students in the adapted physical activity class at MRU and to demo the Trexo. I was able to tell students all about my journey as a person living with cerebral palsy. They were very interested in the Trexo robotic walking device as they are studying Innovations to assist people with disabilities. It was so much fun!

I went to the Calgary Wranglers Game today - it was so much fun! They won over the Vancouver Canucks 4-2! I even met Blasty! I had a great time

Out Of My Mind- This new movie just came out and I highly recommend it.
The film stars Phoebe-Rae Taylor who has cerebral palsy just like me, and portrays a non verbal wheelchair user. Very insightful and I thought you might like it! Check it out on Disney Plus.

On Tuesday, I was able to share my journey of living with cerebral palsy along with demonstrating walking in my Trexo Robotic walker. It was great to share my story and show all the different activities I am doing plus highlighting my favourite activity - WALKING! I met some very interesting people from Kids Brain Health. It was such a fun morning - I loved it!

Today was the first day of Patient and Family Centred Care Week. I had the amazing opportunity to go to the Alberta Children’s Hospital and thank the staff who do such an awesome job at caring for kids in the hospital. It was so great to go back and visit staff that I knew when I was a kid getting treatment there. I was able to go around the building and hand out treats and say “thank you”. It was so much fun reconnecting while recognizing their dedication and commitment to kids like me.

I got accepted into the 2025 Kin Games! (Also known as the Kinesiology Games) I’m so excited to see what I’ll be doing. This year the games will be hosted at MRU in March 2025. I met with the Team Leads and can’t wait to have a great experience! Watch for more details 👩🏻‍🦼⚡️ .kg

I had a great time at CP Kids Trunk Or Treat Event! It was an accessible Trick or Treat Experience. We set up the back our of vehicle with a rainbow and blue sparkle streamers and were “CareBears”. I had a great time! We gave out candy and mini stuffed animals to all the kids who came by. It was so much fun!
