BICISPORT is the “Number One” cycling magazine in the world. It provides the best racing coverage of the Giro d'Italia, the Tour de France, the Vuelta, the World Championships…
All of the great cycling champions have passed over the pages of this great magazine, which originates in Italy. Passionate “tifosi” and cycling fans all over the World have read BICISPORT for over a quarter century. Intere

stingly enough, the riders are the first to read it when it hits the newsstands. It all began in France with an interesting story near the end of the 1,800's, where a group of friends bet each other who would win in a bike race from the outskirts of Paris, trought the hills in the north of France to Roubaix. It took them an entire day, a day which gave life to the “Hell of the North”; the most difficult and legendary race in the World... Paris-Roubaix. The Tour de France was born, then the Giro d'Italia. Cycling became the sport of the people... it represented adventure, courage, strenght and the battle of human will vs. fatigue. BICISPORT is the magazine of the great sport of Cycling. It has covered the stories of many great champions for over a quarter century throughout the 1,900's: from Bottecchia to Petit Breton, from Pellisier to Binda, from Girardengo to Guerra, from Robic to Bobet, from Coppi to Kubler, from Koblet to Van Steenbergen, from Van Looy to Anquetil, from Bahamontes to Ocaña, from Merckx to Gimondi, from LeMond to Hinault, from Indurain to Lance Armstrong. BICISPORT, is a collector's item for those who love the sport of Cycling. It reviews all of the technical innovations as well as the most sophisticated bikes in the World along with the stories about Cycling legends to modern riders right at your fingertips. And BICISPORT is the Worlds leading magazine not only due to its incredible stories, but also for the incredible photographic beauty captured by its world-class journalists. Four thousand pages... every year!

Bicisport December edition is out now! 2015 is just around the corner, but before getting going again with the teams' training camps and the very first races, let's take a look back over the 2014 season with some of the most memorable photo moments from January to November. The first battles were fought in Australia and Argentina. Then came the biggest challenges. Kristoff's Sanremo, the Northern Classics with great wins by Degenkolb, Cancellara, Terpstra, Gilbert, Valverde and Gerrans. Then it was time for the Grand Tours. Quintana, the first ever Colombian to take the pink jersey and Aru up on the podium in third position. The fantastic Tour won by Nibali, the first Italian to take the title in Paris since Pantani sixteen years ago. And finally the Vuelta won by Contador, who sprung back to life after having broken his shin bone. Cassani's debut as DS at the World Championships in Ponferrada, won by Kwiatkowski, followed by Daniel Martin's victory at the Lombardia. Then is was holiday time, whilst Aru set off for California to work on his ITTs in the wind tunnel. A wonderful year to be looked back on.

Giro d'Italia and Tour de France. We preview the maps and take a look, stage by stage, at the challenges awaiting riders in the year to come. Contador and Aru will both be aiming high at the Giro, and the Spaniard promises to have a competitive edge at the Tour, too. At Astana work is underway in an attempt to hit a balance between the ambitions of Nibali, who also wants to race in the Giro, and those of Aru, who has set his sights on the pink jersey and is making that his prime objective for 2015. Still on the topic of Fabio, the Sardinian rider has already set to work in the wind tunnel and Bicisport flew out to California to catch up with him, one pedal push after another, during the course of a day's exciting test runs and aerodynamic trials. Bramati, what can you tell us about the world champion? The Omega Pharma sport director gives us an insight into Kwiatkowski. Bicisport English Edition for November is now available...

Kwiatkowski is World Champion. The young Pole blows his rivals out of the water in style. And all in the very last lap. He surges back into the group up ahead (where De Marchi is too), then delivers a crushing blow on the final climb. To his rear, the ones left behind take on the final sprint and it is Gerrans and Valverde who make it on to the podium. And Valverde didn't stop there: Alejandro also picks up another rainbow medal (his sixth to date!) after battling it out for the umpteenth time against his teammate and rival,“Purito” Rodriguez. Vuelta here. Contador makes quite a return and takes the “roja”. Aru also did magnificently on the Spanish climbs. The Sardinian rider wins two stages and finishes in fifth place, which bodes very well for his future.

Prudential Ride London. We rode the second edition of the London Gran Fondo. 23,000 participants (more than twice as many applications) for an event that in two years has become one of the most important in the world. The wait in Hyde Park, breakfast with bacon and scrambled eggs, then the start of the race in a downpour. Finally, the finish in front of Buckingham Palace. How exciting!
