Going beyond a traditional Media Day, the event honours his pioneering contribution to Communication Studies in Sri Lanka, as well as his creative brilliance as a communicator.

The Media Club of Visakha Vidyalaya successfully concluded "𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲", photography and videography workshop on the 24th of August, 2025. Surrounded by the beauty of Seethawaka Botanical Garden, participants had the chance to learn, capture, and connect with nature in its purest form. It was more than just a workshop, but an experience of seeing the world through a new lens.

A heartfelt thank you to our esteemed lecturers, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗦𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗵𝗶𝗸𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗗𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗮 𝗚𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗷𝘂𝗹𝗮 and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗷𝗲𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗻𝗲, for bringing our vision to life, and to our amazing participants whose enthusiasm and creativity made every frame special.
