We’re gassed to welcome Sam Suffit () to the Brick Sweat Records roster for our next release️. A low-key producer who you might wanna keep an eye on 👁️

Rooted in 90s hip hop and shaped by Antwerp’s early 2000s techno scene, Sam has long been immersed in electronic subcultures. After years of digging vinyl, he began producing just two years ago, channelling his broad influences into a sound that’s both playful and hard-hitting.

His forthcoming 5-track EP flows across electro, techno and house continuum. From the wobbly opener “Starting Up Again” to the glitchy minimalism of “Juice of Sapho” and the electro breaks of “Speed Warning”, the release captures an artist with good depth and momentum.

Beyond this alias, Sam also explores his lifelong passion for hardcore and gabber as ‘Christelle Meth’, with a recent mini-album and more on the way.

A few weeks on from the release of Crash Landing EP and we’re still going strong💪

The project is sitting comfortably at No. 10 in the Electro Charts, Home Planet Tek has landed at No. 16 in the singles chart as well as being represented on staff picks 🧡

and co have also done damage on landing at No. 10 on their album charts!

For our next release, and first of the 2025, we proudly welcome electro whizz DJ Tankard () to the label for his debut EP 🌀

Hailing from the South West of England, DJ Tankard has recently lockedddd innnn to his music production, where his style has shifted somewhat over the last two years from a breaks/ghettotech focus to something inspired much more by Detroit electro as well as sleeker contemporary electro, with a specific lens on blending classic drum-machine sounds with funk driven synthesisers, and just enough sci-fi cheesiness to make your smile perk up when you hear it.

The project in question has been in the pipeline for a while, and it’s very nearly here to bless your earholes. Tankard’s been dropping some really nice tunes for a few years now so we’re gassed to have him on board.

The 8-track album comes stacked with remixes from our very own , heavy-hitters like and , as well as a collab track between & Tankard himself.

First taste of the album lands this Friday. Stay tuned 🫧
