The Wandieville Newsletter is Back!

After a short break, we’re thrilled to return with fresh insights, new perspectives, and a renewed commitment to shaping Africa’s food systems and nutrition story.

This latest edition explores two defining moments in the global nutrition landscape:

🔹 The Lancet Group Report spotlighting the link between sustainable diets and planetary health.
🔹 Highlights from the EAT Forum in Stockholm, where global leaders came together to rethink how the world produces, consumes, and values food.

At Wandieville, we believe change starts with knowledge and every insight shared brings us closer to building healthier communities, stronger food systems, and equitable nutrition for all.

Dive into the full edition to explore reflections, opportunities, and what these global shifts mean for Africa’s food future.

at Imeko Market, Ogun State!

Today, our team hit the bustling lanes of Imeko Market and what an experience it was.

From the aroma of dried fish to the chatter of market women, this activation reminded us that real nutrition conversations belong right where food begins the market.

We talked, laughed, learned, and unlearned.
Together, we discovered how dried okro, dried fish, and dried tomatoes aren’t “old-fashioned” they’re smart, nutrient-packed, and proudly Nigerian!

Moments like this fuel the movement where food meets knowledge and communities grow stronger.

Together, we’re proving that healthy eating doesn’t have to be expensive it just has to be Korret!

They whispered, “Dry foods don’t have nutrients.”
But then… we opened the pot.
The aroma of dried tomato stew filled the room, the thickness of Okro soup from the Dried Okro stretched the spoon and the richness of Dried fish in the soup reminded everyone of home.
The truth is dry doesn’t mean death.
Drying is one of the oldest preservation methods in our culture, keeping food safe, flavorful and yes… nutrient-packed!
From iron in dried fish to yummy in Dried Okro and antioxidants in Dried tomatoes, Eat Korret makes it possible to eat better without losing value.
So next time someone tells you dried foods have no nutrients, invite them to your table.
The taste and the strength will prove them wrong.
