Thin Space

Thin Space Thin Space is an art and theology journal created by the students of Moody Bible Institute. Will soon begin accepting art for the 2016/17 edition.

"The Irish have an old teaching that there are places on earth where the atmosphere collapses and heaven sags to earth. They call them 'thin places,' a place charged with sacredness, a place close to God. Whether a mountaintop or seaside cliff, a monastery or city scape, thin places are wherever you have a sense of the divine, a sense beyond." An art and theology journal curated by students, Thin

Space is a compilation of student works created to capture the life between heaven and earth. We're not afraid of the mundane or the nitty-gritty, the glorious or the stunning. Thin Space was inspired by Ashley Samuelson, a Moody Alum, as a place to celebrate the art created by Moody students, to form a tangible expression of the thin space we exist in.
