A Chic Celebration: Petite Vie Opens in Western Springs, Health & Wellness Issue (Autumn/Fall 2024)
In our Félix Magazine Health & Wellness Issue, we toast the elegant debut of —Chef Paul Virant’s () heartfelt return to French cuisine. On June 11, 2024, the Western Springs gem officially opened its doors, inviting guests into an intimate space inspired by the timeless charm of a Parisian brasserie.
The preview evening, filled with French wines, delicately crafted hors d’oeuvres, and the spirit of community, set the tone for what promises to be one of Chicagoland’s most beloved dining destinations. Partnering with , the cocktail menu delighted guests with highlights like the Haku Spritz, Toki Highball, and Roku Martini—each a refined nod to Petite Vie’s timeless aesthetic.
From signature drinks to classics like coq au vin and steak frites, the menu reflects Virant’s reverence for tradition and his seasonal, locally driven approach.
Petite Vie’s warmth doesn’t stop at the plate. Designed alongside his wife Jennifer and longtime friend Jody Tate, the 65-seat space features curated artwork, antique mirrors, and golden ambient lighting—inviting guests to linger, sip, and savor.
