Introducing Chris Quick:
Today we want to welcome Chris Quick onboard as our film editor.

Chris is an independent film editor from Glasgow Scotland. He started his career editing video coverage of the Katana K-1 Fight shows for Global Kombat Entertainment. Since 2015, Chris has focused mainly on editing for short films including ‘Electric Faces’ which went on to receive a BAFTA New Talent Award. More recently, he edited the short film ‘Cakes’ which has played at BIFA and BAFTA qualifying film festivals.

Introducing Rachael Orr
Rachael is a Production Designer based in Glasgow. She gained her BA in Set and Costume Design for theatre at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. After graduating, she transitioned into the world of film and TV and has since worked with companies such as STV, BBC and GMAC. Last year she returned to study Communication Design at Glasgow School of Art to explore her interest in graphic and spatial design.

Introducing Scott Walker:
We proud to be teaming up again with Scott Walker who will be our production sound recordist for the film.

Scott is a Glasgow based sound recordist having worked on numerous television shows like BBC's 'Scotland's Home of the Year' and upcoming Channel 4 show 'Outrageous Homes'. Scott has also worked on number film projects such as 'The Defender'; horror film 'Baby in the Basket' and short film 'Catch'. He was also sound recordist for the Global 48-Hour Film Project competition winning short film 'Here Comes the Nun’.

Look Book:
Today we want to share our “Look Book” with some images that best represent the film.

A look book is generally used in film pre-production to give a look, tone and feeling on what the film will look like. It allows all the creative Heads of Department (HoDs) to get a feel for their individual roles and helps bring the overall aesthetic of the film together.

Working with our Director of Photography Simon Stolland, we have worked out our colour palette and tone which will be reflected in the camera, lenses and lighting we will use in the finished film.

Simon has a wealth of cinematic experience and is best known for his work on the critically acclaimed feature film ‘Blue Story’ released in 2019, written and directed by Andrew Onwubolu aka ‘Rapman’; Adam Deacon’s directorial debut ‘Sumotherhood’ and ‘Marching Powder’ written and directed by Nick Love (’Football Factory’) which was theatrically released in March 2025.

Introducing Steve Johnson:
Steve Johnson is our Director, Producer and Writer of ‘Standing on the Bridge’.

Steve’s previous credits include the critically acclaimed low-budget feature film ‘Convergence’ which won over 20 awards worldwide including Best Feature film at the 2019 British Independent Film Festival in London and the 2019 Cardiff International Film Festival.

Steve also directed the feature film ‘Stalker’ which premiered at Frightfest London in 2022. The film starred Saturn Award nominated actress Sophie Skelton (Outlander); Welsh BAFTA winning actor Stuart Brennan (Risen) and Wrestling legend Bret Hart. The film was released in the UK on DVD and Digital by Kaleidoscope Film Distribution.
