Our little Hagen is 3 years old and was diagnosed on 5/26 with ALL B Cell Leukemia

Week 43

Hagen’s counts had dropped quite a bit after being on a higher dose of 6mp. He is neutropenic but labs are showing counts are starting to recover. They done a 6mp lab today day and will be sending it to Memphis to try and find his set dosage.

We also followed up with the foot doctor and we have ruled out that it is not neuropathy in his feet Hagen is having hip issues. They done some X-rays and reports came back good. Maybe just growing pain or some joint issues from chemo. We are waiting for a referral to ortho to get more answers on that🧡🎗️

Week 42

Hagen the hero was super brave today and sat all by himself for not one but two finger pokes and a rebleed for the 3rd attempt 🫣his blood kept clotting and wasn’t able to be read in the lab till the 3rd try. Thank the Lord that worked cause the next option was port access🥴

Hagen’s counts are great and gets a full dose of MTX and his set dose of 6mp nightly. He also received a signed baseball hat from the Elizabethon River Riders⚾️

Hagen is finishing up week 41

Last week was LP and started 5 days of dex and vincristine. Counts was great and they also upped his 6mp to a higher dose which always makes me nervous!!!! Hagen finished his last dose of dex Monday night. We are still seeing feet issues. Hagen was suppose to see orthopedic today but they had to change it till Monday.

Tomorrow will be week 42 and hopefully just a finger poke and oral chemo🧡🎗️

Week 40

I’ve been slacking on keeping weekly updates life is crazy and busy lol

Hagen is doing great! Counts had recovered from week 39 and he was able to receive his full dose of MTX and 6mp. Last week was access week and shewwww it’s rough…I pray that it gets easier as time goes on, but thankful he recovers as soon as they say we are done!!!

On Thursday it will be procedure day for his LP and will begin steroids and vincristine. We are so close to being done with Dex, Vincristine, and LP(till week 120). We will end all this on week 49.

Please help us pray for a smooth day on Thursday and these days are rough on Hagen and mama🎗️🧡

Week 39

Yesterday was chemo day. Hagen’s counts had dropped quite a bit since last week. Last week Hagen’s counts doubled and he was able to receive full dose of chemo. This week he dropped and ended up getting on half dose. We are seeing some issues with neuropathy maybe or something else with his feet. Me and PT both agreed to have him checked with Orthopedic. He has an appointment for that on July 9th.

Hagen is doing great and had a wonderful time at the beach🎗️🧡

Week 37

Thursday was chemo day for our hero. Counts was good had dropped some from last week not sure why but could be 6mp. They did a 6mp level and it was sent to Memphis. We should know more about that in the next week or so. Hagen started Dex back and 50% dosage of 6mp. Hagen hasn’t doubled counts since reinduction 2 after steroids so it’s kinda of concerning on why he isn’t but could be just super sensitive to 6mp.

Hagen’s beach trip is coming up very soon lord willing we will be leaving on Sunday morning. Please please help us pray hard for good results maybe even doubled counts and no sickness as he usually gets sick after coming off steroids🥴 we are praying very hard to be able to get him there as he is soo excited. We all need a much needed time of relaxation and a little bit of normalcy🧡🎗️

Week 36

Hagen’s counts was great and continuing the same dose of chemo🧡

A big praise for Hagen’s neuropathy issues have decreased and we are seeing less toe curling and limping🙌🏻 Next week is dex week so we are starting now on extra doses of Gabapentin to prepare.

Hagen also has a beach trip coming up in 2 weeks and he is soo excited for this will be his very first beach trip. Please help us pray that he stays well and no sickness so he can go have the time of his life🌊☀️

Week 34 & 35

I forgot to post about last week… last week was week 34 and Hagen was post Dex and his counts did not double like they should and his platelets had dropped all the way to 66🥴 he was chemo held to let counts recover. All this seems to be from 6mp!!!

Week 35

Today Hagen got to begin chemo back and platelets have improved. ANC and WBC did drop some but monocytes are high and bone marrow is recovering🙌🏻🙌🏻

Hagen has been having quite a bit of neuropathy issues in his feet that is causing his toes to curl when he walks. We are strong on Gabapentin dosage and lots and lots of exercise to keep him moving and strengthening his feet and ankles🧡🎗️

New port placement is in and we are waiting on our chemo and ivig transfusion💪🏻🧡

These past two procedures have been a breeze, so much better than the other past few times. He is up playing and eating now🙌🏻
