"ব্রেস্ট ফিডিং"
যারা প্রথমবার মা হয়েছেন,তাদের জন্য এটা যেমন আনন্দের তেমনি অনেক ধকলের ও ব্যাপার। প্রথম মা হওয়ার কারনে অনেক বিষয়েই অজানা থাকে। পুরো প্রেগন্যান্সিতে চিন্তা থাকে বাচ্চা সুস্থ আছে কিনা,সুস্থ ভাবে পৃথিবীতে আসবে কিনা। অথচ মাথায় যেটা আসেই না সেটা হলো ব্রেস্ট ফিডিং। বাচ্চা পৃথিবীর মুখ দেখার সাথে সাথে যে সমস্যা টায় পরতে হয় সবার প্রথমে তা হলো ব্রেস্টফিডিং করানো!
কেনো বলছি এই কথা, যারা এই সমস্যায় অলরেডি পড়েছেন তারা ভালো বুঝতে পারবেন। বিশেষ করে যাদের সি সেকশনে বেবি হয়েছে বা হবে তাদের ব্রেস্ট ফিডিং এ সমস্যা হয় বেশি। কারন অপারেশন এর পরে উচ্চমাত্রায় এন্টিবায়োটিক শরীরে প্রবেশ করে। যার ফলে সাথে সাথে দুধ আসেনা। অন্তত ২-৩ দিন সময় লাগে। এ সময় বাচ্চা খেতে পারছেনা দেখে মা ও বাচ্চার ফ্যামিলি মেম্বাররা অস্থির হয়ে ফরমুলা দুধ খেতে দিয়ে দেয়। যেটা করা মোটেও ঠিক নয়। তবে ডক্টর যদি সাজেস্ট করেন,তবে অবশ্যই দিবেন।
ফর্মুলা দুধ না দেওয়ার কারণ হলো, ফর্মুলা খেয়ে বাচ্চা যে মজা পাবে এবং যত অনায়াসে সে ফিডার টানতে পারবে, বুকের দুধ অত সহজে টেনে নিতে পারেনা। যার ফলে শুরুতেই ফর্মুলা খেয়ে অভ্যস্ত হলে বুকের দুধ বাচ্চা টেনে খেতে চাইবেনা। আর বুকের দুধ বাচ্চা যত টানবে ততই দুধ আসবে।
ব্রেস্ট ফিডিং যেমন একটি দ্ব্বৈব প্রক্রিয়া,তেমনি অনেকটা মানসিক অবস্থার উপর নির্ভরশীল। তাই মায়ের শারীরিক স্বাস্থ্যের পাশাপাশি মানসিক স্বাস্থ্যের প্রতি ও যত্ন নেওয়া উচিত।

In the whole pregnancy, there is concern whether the baby is healthy, whether it will come to the world in a healthy way. But what does not come to mind is breast feeding. Why am I saying this, those who have already face about this problem will understand better. Especially those who have had or will have a C-section baby have more problems with breastfeeding. Because after surgery, high levels of antibiotics enter the body. As a result, milk does not come immediately. It takes at least 2-3 days. At that time, the mother and the child's family members became restless when they saw that the child could not eat and gave him formula milk. Which is not right at all. But if the doctor suggests, then definitely give it.
The reason for not giving formula milk is that the baby will have fun eating formula and as easily as he can pull the feeder, he cannot pull breast milk that easily. As a result, if the baby is used to drinking formula in the beginning, the baby don't want to breastfeed. And the more breast milk the baby latches, the more milk will come.
As breastfeeding is a god gifted process, somewhere it's depends on emotional state. So mother's physical health as well as mental health should be taken care of.
