I request you all to kindly share this to spread awareness and get the government’s attention.
A deeply tragic incident has occurred. Due to the negligence of Cadet College Karachi, my nephew Salar has lost his life to brain failure.
Since Friday night (23/05/25), Salar had been seriously ill for three days with a high fever, dehydration, and low blood pressure. However, the college administration neither informed the parents nor provided timely medical assistance. After a delay of three days, the college administration themselves transferred him to CMH (Combined Military Hospital)—not only did they not call the parents, they weren’t even informed of the situation.
At CMH, doctors said that no ICU beds were available and advised immediate transfer to a private hospital. But the administration ignored the doctors’ instructions and sent Salar back to Cadet College. This worsened his condition—oxygen could not reach his brain, leading to severe blood deficiency and brain failure.
Finally, when all hope of recovery seemed to fade, the college administration called the parents and told them to “come and take him.”
His brain was already dehydrated and dead when his parents came to take him to the hospital. We were praying for a miracle to save him.
Today on 27/05/2025, Salar Jan Brohi is no more, and this entire sequence of events is a result of the college administration’s criminal negligence.
