We are happy to announce the release of Image Beyond „Reflection in Time“ on DoCD (500 copies) and Double Vinyl in Gatefold Cover (400 Copies black/100 copies orange) on Death Rider Records
Vinyl and DoCD will be available first at the merch stand at KEEP IT TRUE Festival on April 26th 2024. There will be 150 copies of the Black Vinyl and the DoCDs available. Due to a production delay, the orange vinyl will be available shortle later in our online store that will go online after KIT.

The history of Progressive Metal may be written and the book is closed for many - early Queensryche, Crimson Glory, Dream Theater or Fates Warning are part of the standard repertoire of every genre fanatic.
But of course the underground was also working in the 80s and early 90s, and for years relevant labels around the world have been looking for traces of bands that recorded demo tapes in small quantities, which often only achieved fame in their hometowns.
IMAGE BEYOND also belongs to this list; their self-titled 3-track tape from 1996 would only have been known to the biggest die hard collectors. The band came from Connecticut, the home of Fates Warning, and the lineup included none other than Steve Zimmerman, who recorded the first four legendary albums from 1984 to 1988. Together with singer Brian Betterton, guitarists Tommy Blardo and Brett Betterton, bassist Wayne Parr and Bob Bryk on keyboards, who unfortunately passed away on September 26, 2023 and can no longer see the release of this compilation, the musicians not only created the original ones Demo songs from 1996, but also a few other tracks that can now be found on “Reflection In Time” and that ensure that this collection fills almost an hour and a half. Thanks to a good memory, Steve Zimmerman found an old tape with never-released tracks as well as other recordings that were recorded with only one microphone in the rehearsal room, but which, despite all the rawness, more than clearly show the quality of the material.
Anyone who counts bands like Twilight Kingdom, Ion Vein, early Queensryche, Kingsbane, Fates Warning among their favorites and generally loves progressive music with power, verve and melody will be very happy with IMAGE BEYOND.
By the way, the band is working hard on completely new material, which is due to be released in 2024.
