My name is Gwendolyn. I am married with two children. I am an avid lover of horror, science fiction, all things vintage, the 1950's, the 1980's and
old school goth music. I have an obsession with bladerunner. To me it is the most romantic love story ever told and exactly where the human race is heading. I have always felt that the term goth (gothic) to me refers to much more than black clothing . I find it insulting that some people think that is what it is about. I am insulted that some folks say why are you smiling your suppost to be goth. Really? How naive some folks can be. I am an open minded gal with a love for many things. I dont like to be boxed in and I dont feel anyone should.To me gothic describes more than appearance. It is an inner feeling. An emotion that lingers within and is there in everything you view say or do. I feel I see the sad in everything and that allows me to see the beauty. I have a macabre way of viewing things and often I am lost deep in thought. I see the sadness and frailty in the human condition and the beauty of feeling things deeply. As concrete blonde would say "Life is beautiful and terrible and strange." I love strange!!! This magazine was an idea a thought and was the project of several but well a lot of people just talk and I got left the only one wanting to do. So here I am! This magazine to me is a way to showcase what I find to be true and rare beauty. In the form of models.non models, artists, writers, music, and a lot more. I recently lost my father a year ago and while watching him die I felt such sorrow such loss. It was the most horrible experience I have ever endured. This is my tribute to my father. He would call me Goth Gwen and it would crack me up. Never waste a single moment and always strive to make your dreams come true. These are my intentions in starting this magazine. I am starting small and we will see where it goes!!!!
