Discomfort zines Ugly reality zines for the not-so-punx born in the 'hood of upstate New York and now out of Philadelphia by an as***le named davegunn. DIY and XVX as f**k.

I make raw, text-heavy, authentic DIY publications that vary dramatically in content. In addition to a series of perzines, I also release zines having to do with politics, the uglier sides of reality and humanity, hitchhiking, veganism, anarchism, and straightedge. I want to produce things that make people think and feel and learn and feel uncomfortable about. I used to hope and dream of one day b

ecoming a "real" writer; to be discovered through my blogging and published. Then it occurred to me that I can publish myself. So I did and haven't stopped since. Writing zines is one of the greatest decisions I've ever made with my life and, as it turns out, a lot of people all over the planet want to pay to read my stuff. I have sold well over a thousand zines since 2010 through my Etsy shop, tabling at various festivals, and through a few bookstores on the East coast. This page is to help people communicate with me.
