THIS SATURDAY! We’re back for the first time in a long time. Sydney‘s longest running and heaviest metal market will be tearing down the walls this weekend at Enmore’s brewery. Expect the usual maniacal combo of beer, vinyl, merch, tapes, CD’s and whatever else our perverted sellers are pushing, as well as the finely curated playlists of the mighty DJ GOUTLORD (formerly DJ Goatlord, named changed for medical reasons). It’s free entry and all ages!

And no fear if our 2-6pm binge ain’t enough for you, we’ve ordered a few extra kegs of abyssic p**s to drag your wretched soul into the night, with & kicking off a rabble of sound from 7pm. The shows sold out, but feel free to lurk outside in the gutters of Enmore road.

Hot on the heels of their psychotic and delirium inducing debut EP “Non Compos Mentis”, the entity known as .phrenique returns for another round of shock therapy with their debut full length “Decathexis”. The album takes the foundation of the EP and enhances it with more peaks and valleys, swirling hypnotic guitar breaks and off kilter ambience underpinned by percussive savagery and a spit-flecked, spite fuelled vocal attack that will leave you hoping that the band will withdraw the mental and emotional energy of its ferocity from you for your own safety.
