Thanks to the artists also for their patience in working with us. It was a good year for Brilliant Emperor as we cracked 50 releases since we began in 2019. 2026 is already lined up, although we do appreciate your submissions. Expect another quiet year in terms of the amount we pump out, but it’s quality over quantity and sanity over madness for me personally if I want to keep things chugging along!

Sathara’asthika (Sri) “සවස්ථිසිද්ධම් (Swasthi-Sidhdham)” - LP

“An enigmatic work delves into a sonic realm of solar-worshipping ritual Power Electronic and crude Death Industrial, drawing inspiration from the ancient Vaimanika Shastra and mythological narratives of the descent into Lanka. The album’s dense, abrasive layers of distorted electronics and pulsating rhythms create an immersive experience, evoking both reverence and dread.
Recorded, mixed, and mastered between 2018 and 2019, this album was suppose to be released as a split double LP with Suryagdha, a power electronic project HSLKGamini also of Konflict, but later decided to release both part of the split as standalone album. Suryagdha was released as VAP023 in 2019, 6 years later Sathara’asthika is finally available on vinyl. For very limited time available from us, on Japanese style tip-on jacket with OBI, black vinyl, limited to 100 copies”

THIS SATURDAY! We’re back for the first time in a long time. Sydney‘s longest running and heaviest metal market will be tearing down the walls this weekend at Enmore’s brewery. Expect the usual maniacal combo of beer, vinyl, merch, tapes, CD’s and whatever else our perverted sellers are pushing, as well as the finely curated playlists of the mighty DJ GOUTLORD (formerly DJ Goatlord, named changed for medical reasons). It’s free entry and all ages!

And no fear if our 2-6pm binge ain’t enough for you, we’ve ordered a few extra kegs of abyssic p**s to drag your wretched soul into the night, with & kicking off a rabble of sound from 7pm. The shows sold out, but feel free to lurk outside in the gutters of Enmore road.
