It's a busy day in the bakery! We have $1000 worth of orders to fulfill, including a 3-tiered wedding cake for our long-time friend, Stephanie! We took a quick lunch + Michael's break and then went right back to work. After we delivered the cake, we said hi to the boys before quickly freshening up and getting cute for the wedding. It was so much fun! Congrats to Stephanie & Fritznel!

Roody and I were both off from work today, so we packed up the kiddies and drove up to Norwalk to watch the Memorial Day Parade!

It was only 1 hour long, but I know all of the boys enjoyed it. We did, too. We had so much commentary lol and I guess being outside in the fresh morning air did some good to our brains because we were definitely in a good mood.

Freedom isn’t free! And so we are very grateful 🫡

Being an adult and having a mother who is still willing to take care of you is such a huge blessing 🥲

Mommy steals clothes out of Larique’s closet to give to me. That’s a special kind of love right there because Larique always finds out and gets really upset. Then Mommy gets an ear full. But that doesn’t stop her from doing it again!

seem to go through this with each of my children--breastfeeding highs and lows while recovering from a c-section. You would think that I would be used to it by now! It was a chill day in our little room, soaking in the cuteness that is Julian and trying to keep our sanity. Stamford Hospital has THE best food. They treated us to a special going-home dinner, and I opted for the Lobster Tail. I was in food heaven. I pumped out so much milk that the nurses took notice. I was very proud of myself by the end of the night!

The air in my room was killing my sinuses, but I pushed through. I walked around a whole lot, trying to avoid the uncomfortable bed. Larique kept me company while Roody handled a rental at the studio. Daddy met his 4th grandson, and I asked him how it feels to now have 4 grandsons.

We had such a great time celebrating Kabreena’s birthday at yesterday!

Even though we couldn’t find where KJ parked the car and we walked halfway across Brooklyn before I had the bright idea to check my MacBook’s location 😅 it was a great dinner, and I want to go back to try some more of their dishes.

Roody asked me to be his Valentine last Wednesday and I said, “I’ll think about it.” Because why are you asking me so late?? 🙄

LOL I’m a hot mess, and Roody is the only person on earth who can put up with me. I’m so grateful for you, amorcito.

You prove to be my forever Valentine everyday through your love and support. I don’t ever doubt how you feel about me, even though OCD causes me to need the constant reassurance. “Ok, but do you love me?” is the question you hear almost everyday, and you always calmly say, “I do.”
