Happy 36th birthday to this absolute stud muffin 😍 My Rooney Butt. My life partner. My honey bunches of oats. My voice of reason.

I’m so grateful for another chance to celebrate you, amorcito. We’re still not home yet because you insisted on driving back from our trip early just so that I could get back to finish up all of the orders I managed to rack up this week.

We almost ate dinner at a vegan restaurant because you wanted to make sure I had a good amount of options to choose from.

Thank you for always being so kind to me, even when I don’t deserve it. Thank you for your friendship. And thank you for being born because what would I do without you 🫠

Jaden is 10 years old today 🥳
I just can’t believe it’s been 10 years since the baby we prayed for was extracted from my abdomen 🥲

It’s funny because I had so many plans for my birth. All of that went out the window because Jaden didn’t want to leave the comfort of my womb. So I had to be induced, which ended up being a great thing for my social media career because I wanted one last dance before they tied me down for the night.

The next day, I pushed for 2.5 hours and made no progress. Jaden was going into distress and I had to have an emergency c-section. I hadn’t mentally prepared for that, and I was terrified. Roody was scared I was going to die. But he kept stroking my head and telling me it was going to be ok.

A few minutes later, we heard our son cry for the first time. It was beautiful and I cried right along with him. Finally, I was a mother. A title I wasn’t sure I would ever have. But I got it.

Thank You, Jesus, for hearing our prayer. Happy birthday, my Jaden ❤️

I have been using ni**le cream like lipgloss for years now. My lips are always smooth, they don’t stay chapped, and the gloss is nice :)

But I do want to get myself some official lipgloss from Sephora, one that has some color. Any recommendations?

Day 1 of our vacation has been filled with so much excitement. Being a full time baker means providing nourishment for everyone’s family except my own.

So while on vacation, I fully intend to cook as much as I can. All from scratch. And this is so exciting to me because this is what I’ve always wanted as a wife and mother—to have the time freedom to cook delicious meals for my family.

Today, we made vegan penne alla vodka and chicken wings. Tomorrow, we’re doing vegan pancakes and then bread at some point, apparently. Plus vegan lasagna for dinner. Yumma!

Then we went out to dinner at , and Mommy got even more flowers haha. The food was so good 😋

The funny thing is that I had just told my friend a few days before that I would NEVER be caught wearing a poncho, because why in the world would I be standing in the rain on purpose?

Fast forward to this Chicago trip, where we dragged the wagon to The Bean and sang about it.

Also, there’s a Mexican restaurant that is walking distance from The Bean, and they have a full vegan menu! Delicious tacos, delicious quesadillas. 10/10, highly recommend! 🌮

Laquisha & Terrance flew me out to North Carolina for their engagement session, and I couldn't have been more excited! Before leaving, I had to go to the kitchen to work on a big cake & cake pops order. Then I went to the airport, met up with everyone in NC, and spent the evening having a great time! Meanwhile back at the ranch, Roody took the boys to the library then went to the kitchen to finish up the big order for me.
