: Donivan Barnes Protest this Saturday at 3pm could not only reopen his case, but others as well. The Mississippi Attorney General office is trying to decide whether or not to reopen Donivan’s case.

How strong the community shows up tomorrow could be the deciding factor. A lot is on the line for tomorrow’s protest.

The protest starts at 3:00pm in front of Martin Luther King Church in Hattiesburg and is walking to Vernon Dahmer Park.

Donivan was a 26 year old black man that was killed on Westover Drive in Hattiesburg in which all charges have been dropped agasint the main suspect, Andrew David Cook, a 25 year old white boy despite evidence including Donivan’s blood on his truck.

: Good Samaritan in Taylorsville that shot & killed Austin Jones, a black man, is actually a convicted felon with violent history. It is illegal for convicted felons to have guns. He told the police he had 3 guns and he alleged Austin tried to steal one.

The Good Samaritan, a white male, has not been identified yet to the public. Instead of giving his name, the Taylorsville Police told us to “ask the victim’s family!” because it’s their job to protect the “Good Samaritan.”
