On this week's edition of , is here to remind us that throughout our journey, we will experience different variations of moments and not-so-great ones arrive, it is vitally important to understand that those days will not last forever and there are brighter days ahead. Sometimes, we can not see the sunshine peaking through the clouds until it moves aside. When we take the time to unpack each moment little by little, we begin to the beauty in the lesson that God was trying to teach us in the first place.

So, when we feel stuck, it won't always be that way.
When we feel overwhelmed, it won't always be that way.
When we feel unprepared, it won't always be that way.
When we feel discouraged, it won't always be that way.

If God can bring us through a storm or a valley once, then He can do it again and a million times over.

A week ago, Selena Y Los Dinos premiered on 🥹 wow. To celebrate, I'm taking you on a rewind with me back when I decided to pay homage to Selena, with this iconic look, for her 50th birthday.

This documentary was 10/10. We loved seeing her smile, hearing her voice, and watching her evolve. Selena will always mean the world to us, and that'll never ever change. It doesn't matter how many times we hear her story. We'll never get tired of it. Selena will live on in our hearts forever, and her light will continue to shine bright.

Selena was a dreamer. She knew what she wanted, and she was determined to make it happen. There was no goal too big or small for Selena. If she envisioned it, she believed she could achieve it.

Selena was a trailblazer. She set the tone and raised the bar high. Selena was the gold standard—a singer, dancer, a fashion designer. There was no one like her, nor will there ever be. Can we talk about how Selena perfected those spins? She hit the mark every single time and never missed a beat.

Selena was an icon. Her name. Her music. Her legacy. Her story. Her journey. Her mission. Her influence. She is still inspiring us even after all these years, and we can not help but smile.

We are so grateful for the seeds that she planted while she was here on earth, and they'll keep growing always through her family and everyone who treasured her deeply. Loving her til the end of time and beyond and we thank her for everything. 💜💫 Sincerely,

Our heartfelt tribute to is coming Friday, November 21st on Substack, but first we wanted to pause for a brief moment to honor, celebrate, and shine our light on Vanessa Brown Knowles, who ascended to Glory on September 28th. She not only birthed amazingness but gave her heart and soul to Jesus. Shortly after learning about her passing and seeing the massive impact she had made on others, we felt compelled to dive a little bit deeper into her journey. And, we are so glad we did.

While on our quest, we soon discovered that Ms. Vanessa was the mother of Lisa Knowles-Smith. After all these years of loving them, we missed that detail, believing that they were sisters. Ms. Vanessa always looked so fly that we could not even recognize it. She blended right in, and that's what made everything perfect. With that freshly in our mind, we began watching videos of Ms. Vanessa, on stage with her girls, and then it all clicked.

Ms. Vanessa was the glue. She was the foundation. In the moments where things became a little shaky and unsettling. She knew what to do and say to keep everyone grounded and to remember the why of their dreams.

Ms. Vanessa was the anchor. She held everyone up and provided encouragement so they could keep moving forward.

Ms. Vanessa was the shepherd. She beautifully conveyed and sang about how grateful she was to have Jesus as her shepherd throughout her life. Yet, she embodied that same quality when it came to her girls—covering, safety, protection, and a listening ear to all who needed it.

Ms. Vanessa was the gift of love. It was in the way her eyes sparkled while watching her daughter carry the torch. We felt love through every performance. She knew God's love, and she gave it back to those who she encountered.

We are so grateful for the seeds that Ms. Vanessa planted while she was here on earth, and they'll keep growing through Lisa Knowles Smith & The Brown Singers. Sending love to her family, friends, and everyone who cherished her deeply. Her light will shine bright and never fade, and we thank her for everything. 💜💫 Sincerely,

I had the opportunity to share a little piece of my heart with , where I talked about my story, my values, and what it means to create a legacy with the work I am called to do. The fact that God continues to show up for me time and time again, as I vow to show up for Him, is a blessing.

If you've been rocking alongside me for a while, then you know, showing up in this capacity wasn't my thing. I preferred to stay in the background. But God keeps pushing me to be the greatest version of myself, and I consider it an honor and privilege to just be able to share my journey with you.
