One year ago today, the Nelons final album was released. This moment will always hold a special place in our hearts forever because of the beautiful legacy they gave to the world. Earlier this year, in February, we wrote a heartfelt tribute in their honor.

Their light will continue to shine bright and never fade. We deeply thank for continuing to share her heart and carry the torch forward with grace and purpose.

"Stay bloomin' & keep looking up." —DeJaughn Murphy

Creatives, our tribute post for DeJaughn Murphy is here—we're taking a brief moment to honor, celebrate, and shine our light on this phenomenal guy, DeJaughn Murphy, who ascended to Glory five months ago yesterday. 🖤💫

It's been 153 days since we've become more acquainted with Pastor DeJaughn's legacy and his light. He was a one of a kind man. He wore his heart on his sleeve while representing the whole armor of God in human form. Back in March, after seeing so many photos of him throughout our feed and reading heartfelt tributes, we desired to learn more about Pastor DeJaughn and the impact he had on those he beautifully encountered daily.

It honestly didn't take us long to find out why:

Pastor DeJaughn knew.
He knew who he served.
He knew who gave him the power to bloom.
He knew who to put his trust in at all times.

Pastor DeJaughn, led by the spirit, spoke from the depths of his soul and sang each song with so much passion.

He also gave every ounce of his heart and loved hard—whether it's through his music, his ministry, marriage to , he created a life that would ultimately please God.

Not only that, but Pastor DeJaughn provided us with some valuable lessons along the way.

1️⃣Show up for God like He shows up for us.
2️⃣Don't be afraid to bloom & keep blooming.
3️⃣Treasure every single gift God gives to us.
4️⃣There is always room to grow.

We're so grateful for the seeds that Pastor DeJaughn Murphy planted while he was here on earth. We also know that his light will continue to shine bright and never fade. Sending love to his family, friends, and everyone who cherished his presence deeply. And, we thank him for everything. 🙏🏽💫 Sincerely,

Creatives, our tribute post for Aaliyah, has arrived on what marks 24 years since she ascended from Earth. We aren't sure about you feel, but even though it's been a little over two decades, Aaliyah's light is still shining bright, and we know in our hearts that'll never fade. Here's the thing, Aaliyah was already way ahead of the game. Aaliyah set a tone and a standard that was all her own—we saw it in how she danced, how she delivered notes vocally. It was how she dressed, a style unlike no other. Can we talk about how her hair only covered one of her eyes?

Aaliyah knew what her heart deeply desired and put every single ounce of breath and energy into making her dreams happen.

— Became an actress.
— Worked with artists who understood her vision.
— Let her authenticity shine through.
— Released music that spoke to her soul.
— Celebrated as a full-on entertainer & a good person.

She checked off those boxes and undoubtedly created a legacy filled with many poignant lessons that we hold onto today.

1️⃣ Be original. Do not feel pressured to be put in a box.
2️⃣ Find your passion & do what you love every day.
3️⃣ Be grateful for where you are now on your journey.
4️⃣ Keep working hard & you will eventually reach your goal.

We are forever inspired by Aaliyah for the light and seeds that she planted while she was here, which will continue to keep growing always. Loving her til the end of time and beyond, and we thank her for everything. 💜💫 Sincerely,

"Being a creative means loving what you do, even if you are the only one who believes in the dream, mission, or plan..." 🖤🫶🏽

Writing has always been my go-to. There was just something so beautiful about opening up my notebook and spilling out my heart on a piece of paper. It felt so amazing that every single degree that I have achieved and earned, including my Masters is in English. I knew within my soul that I was where God wanted me to be. Yet, when I began to explore the possibility of making writing a career, I felt like maybe this was out of reach.
It wasn't that I lacked belief in myself or didn't have the drive or expertise.

It was as if I was stepping into a territory, where "becoming a writer" is only something you heard about through reading books or in a dream.

It was not really a common thing.
But, here's the thing that I soon realized.

It does not really matter if "writing" for a living isn't a common thing. I knew that I loved it, and writing loved me back.

Not only that, but I believe deeply that God would not have placed this passion inside of me if He did not want me to pursue it or trust that my words could inspire someone else.

I am so immensely grateful.

Through my newsletter at The Motivational Vibe, I feel honored to share my experiences and thoughts with you every Monday and Friday. 🥹🙏🏽 I am living one of my biggest dreams, and I thank you for supporting me.

Creatives, never stop loving what you do—you are changing so many lives through your light and gift.

"Always be happy, don't be sad because life is really good." —Deborah Finck 🦋

Creatives, our tribute to the beautiful and lovely, Mrs. Deborah Finck is here—we are so deeply honored today to take a moment to honor, celebrate, and shine our light on this amazing soul and Queen, who ascended from Earth on January 14, 2025. 🥹

When we say that a part of our hearts is
utterly heartbroken over the loss of this gorgeous soul is truly an understatement. Mrs. Deborah is a light that will always shine bright. We unfortunately did not have the chance to meet her or know her personally in this lifetime, however, we often looked forward to her daily check—ins, where she shared sacred moments of her life, doted on her family, and showcased that beautiful smile. Who can ever forget her smile? That's the first thing that caught our eye—no matter how she felt, Mrs. Deborah smiled.

She once said in one of her videos with that "it's easier to smile than to frown." (Slide 8). Not only that, but it was her persistence and determination that we will treasure forever. Every single day, Mrs. Deborah mustered up the strength to keep us updated throughout the day, never missed a beat. Whether she was in the hospital, waiting for a test, having a procedure, or just spending time with those who made her happy, she always included us in the journey.

For Mrs. Deborah, to be kind and thoughtful, it truly illustrates the beauty of her heart and what an extraordinary woman she was. We still go back and watch her videos often, just to see her smile, hear her voice (hiiiiii everyone), be inspired, and soak in the impact and legacy that she created. We are also so grateful for the seeds that she planted while she was here, which will continue to grow and help others along the way. Sending love to her family (), friends, and everyone who cherished her dearly. We will always cherish and celebrate her here at ! Loving her til the end of time and beyond. We thank her for everything. 💜💫 Sincerely,
