Some of you may have noticed it’s been quiet around here… so it’s time I share the news as I also share a few images from the last wedding I shot. I’ve decided to close the chapter on my time as a professional photographer. What started as a hobby (and a way to make a little extra cash) grew into a 5 year full-time journey filled with friendships, travel, lessons and memories I’ll carry forever.
2025 has been both the best and hardest year of my life. Professionally, I’ve found joy in a career I’m blessed to love. Personally, I lost the person who meant the world to me. Grief is something no one can prepare you for…it’s universal, yet so uniquely felt. For me, it’s a constant reminder in my chest that tomorrow isn’t promised, a reminder that life is meant to be lived fully, a reminder to be kind to people and a reminder to show up for the ones you love.
From here on, my camera will be just for me.. to capture my own story… Thank you to everyone who supported High Pines Media through the years. You gave me far more than I ever could have imagined. Be the salt & the light.. XOXO - Jodi
