There have been some great races in this 2024 Track and Field Olympic Trials. Watching T&F always brings back epic memories of my high school and college days of being on the track. When Sha'Carri said "Everytime I touch the track it's an opportunity for me work on my best self, being my best self. Everytime I touch the track it's pressure" brought me to tears. You could only understand thoughly if you ran track or did field. Can't wait to see the Paris Olympic Games in August. S/O and original salute to one of my Saluki Track and Field teammates Kevin Steele on the 40th year of immortality for his 400m All time Hoffman Estates HS record set in 1984. I already sent him congrats personally, but I figured it should be shared publicly and celebrated. As the saying goes...you have to give people their flowers while they're present. Congrats again bro, always been my inspiration to run faster! .
