Utilizing my turntable as i visual aid I am now promoting vinyl only and now independent music and other music formats.

20-21 and 9 years before that...
We have amassed

around 9 years of online radio podcast archive. We think it started with us making animal noises and impressions in one of the early shows and this ultimately led to the changing of the show name and our DJ names; easier to remember and easier to say for two clowns that can't talk properly on or off the air! It also seems to tie in well with the show's completely unique and wacky off-the-wall appeal. Dog (Paul Readman), originally known as 'DJ Readman' with his solo show 'The Radio Variety Show' likes the traditional radio medium to promote music, although he's always striving to evolve it with the times and available technology. In the past, he's run a record shop, DJ'ed in clubs and produced a music magazine - all of which ended up becoming the online radio show you hear today! Crow (Darren 'DC' Coles) joined the show as co-presenter in April 2015. The show continues to evolve with the introduction of this loon. Dog (Paul) knew it was going to be chaos from the get-go and welcomed it with open arms. Crow is a graphic designer, an education publisher, fellow radio lover, and musician. He's been in a number of bands, covers, and original alike. Lock up your silver and your daughters!! The show has always been completely independent. we will continue to promote future classics from the talents of the independent artists. Although we love vinyl. we are unable to record it for Mixcloud releases until our equipment is updated. We accept any digital format to promote. Got music you want to promote? We'll play what you got, no charge! We're here to support musicians, not get rich from them! although you can donate:)

I’m on the road to uploading to Youtube again. Although I'm not using my laptop until I find a much secured way of storing the videos. Since I last uploaded to it I lost two hard drives. I never ever had that happen before which was kind of scary. I lost a lot but most audio and video is up online but older stuff ain't too bad. I was considering using SD cards for storage but aside from icloud, what is there?

I’m tryinng to remember where I have heard the vocalist before?
I have been listening to the album and it put a huge smile on my face especially the vocal style 🙂 Bass, drums, swirling guitar just play this on a rig or better still hire the band for gigs.
Their new release Sun Dog is released in May 2024
It’s available on vinyl. I’m buying it.

Hiatus/Radio/Youtube

Quality Must be Heard. The line am always using when I get feedback from bands.

January 2019 I took this line and used it to front a new YouTube series. Audio reviews of music I receive accompanied by musician related visuals.

After taking a long hiatus from radio due in part to stupid broadcast technical, I decided to promote music on a different platform. Broadcast live radio I have been doing and having lots of fun but now its time for a change. I combine the love of editing footage to music and combing that with me reviewing the music in audio form

In the past, I have run a record shop, DJ'ed in clubs and produced a music magazine - all of which ended up becoming the radio show you can hear online ! Crow (Darren 'DC' Coles) joined the show as co-presenter in April 2015. However he had to step down due to growing family commitments. He left in September 2017. That turned out to be a very strange day in the world of radio.
