It isn’t about control or enforcing rules like a dictatorship. Just because we grew up that way doesn’t mean our children need the same approach. That’s why growth is essential. As our kids grow, we must grow with them. The person I was when my kids were one is different from the person I need to be now that they’re eleven and heading into high school. And as they become young adults, I need to keep evolving—more loving, more caring, and a better version of myself.

Part of that growth means addressing our own health. It doesn’t help to carry an extra 30, 40, or 50 kilos of weight, and dealing with health issues like gout, sleep apnea, and high blood pressure only makes it harder. By prioritizing our own well-being, we not only become healthier, but we also set a powerful example for our children.

Most overweight dads, when they start their journey, wake up every morning and say, ‘I’m fat, I’m overweight.’ And that mindset leads to procrastination, excuses, and justifications for not changing—whether it’s workouts, eating habits, or routines.

But here’s the truth: once you shift that mindset, your brain doesn’t know the difference between the past, present, and future. So, what does it mean to say you’ve already lost 50 kilos?

It means you start to act and become that version of yourself now. You begin to adopt the habits and routines of the healthy you: what time do you wake up? How do you work out? What do your daily routines look like? What are your habits, your relationship with food, with success, with money, and with workouts? And what does your bedtime look like? All of these details shape that future you.

That’s the power in dominating now, not waiting until the end of 2026!

To me it’s called overweight state,

In other words comfortable state or environment,

This is exactly why we fail with implementing the strategy because there is no power,

It’s like having lawn mower engine in a Lamborghini body frame,

How to change and shift?

Shock your body by either weights, walk, run, cold shower or even change of scene.

What works for me is pumping weights!

My 200 plus kilo (over 500 pounds) Weightloss Journey

I’ve been overweight my whole life and have tried numerous times to overcome this life struggle. It hasn’t been until the 2nd half of 2017 that MY MIND finally aligned with MY BODY! What I mean by that, is my mind was never in the right state where I could make the necessary and honest changes to better my lifestyle. Until of course, late 2017.

From weighing at my heaviest of 200kg plus, I was able to drop 17kg during a 21 Day Challenge that I set for myself. My 21 Day Challenge was simple; run for 30 minutes each day. Shortly after that, I started a 9 Week Challenge where I was able to go from 180kg to 172kg.

The journey to reaching my goal of hitting 120kg is not easy and takes alot of hard work, determination and commitment. My weight loss journey begins with my mind first, my body second. I TRAIN MY MIND, TO TRAIN MY BODY. The weightloss journey is a MIND-SET game.

My GOAL and Vision is to help 1 million MARRIED MEN to lose all their gained weight since getting married, so that they can have the confidence and energy to create the best life for them and their families. Much Love Felise Taukafa
