"'Transport' is a fun thriller adventure with horror elements that is like Jumanji meets Saw and Escape Room that my business partner Bobby Duncan, who directed with me on this wild ride, initially came up with.
I wanted to incorporate bits from my previous films, so you will see alien sci-fi gangsters like from Universal Intelligence - A Trippy Tran Films Original Short 2008 the first film we won an award for. Moments of Duality: The Battle Within - A Trippy Tran Films Original Short 2008 and Coexist - A Trippy Tran Films Original Short 2009 play in and with all the locations like My Vacation In Cincinnati - A Trippy Tran Films Original Short 2012 and My Vacation In L.A. We have actual celebrities acting in our new movie like Bruno Alcantara and Mary E. Kennedy that are super cool in real life, unlike the character in His Name Is Walter - A Trippy Tran Films Original Short 2012. Mental anguish like QK-Hilltop become a theme, the unhoused/homeless man from State of Agonal - A Trippy Tran Films and On The Brink Entertainment Short makes a cameo as well as the TIP - Horror Movie killer and Creatureville Movie creatures make an appearance.
Lastly, Titney Spears is in the end credits from iNPERSONNATION - A Trippy Tran Films Original 2008 - my first short film. The only one not really incorporated was a short film I produced Denizen - A Trippy Tran Films and Escape West Films Short 2016 as there isn't much to that movie any way due to the direction it took - but our film and the game is a mystery - maybe the drinking bit haha. Elements into people wrecking worlds in each time period is like Wreckfest - A Trippy Tran Films Short 2013. Also, Obliquity: Imagery of the Unknown is probably the closest to a modern version that this would be considered due to how I wrote the characters and the 2 twist endings.
We had 6 writers (Daniel Fernandez, Jeff Blevins, Anastasia Bateman, Devin Dimitri Dominguez, Bobby and myself) on Zoom meetings and brought Jivani Rodriguez to some and had input from Jared Vineyard also for a total of 8 people with input. I love mixing in different ingredients from people into the script that I would not have normally thought of or referenced. *Notice the 8 on the dice in the living room scene - 8 people gave input!
We also took on the challenge of utilizing every prop in all 7 years of Fright Film Competition and attempted all the shot requirements - the one we didn't really get to do was the 1 minute continuous shot, as we were pressed for time at shooting locations.
Transport is a fun ride that must be seen with an audience. I can't wait for everyone to see it! It also features my new single "IDGA$" by my artist name ART A Reasonable Truth."
