repost from A close up of the Gazania quilt that I made for Superior Threads to showcase their Sew Sassy 12wt top stitching thread. I got to pick all the colors and am honored that it is named after me! I use these heavy threads for most of my quilting. I use a #14 or 16 top stitching needle and a matching color of poly or poly blend in the bobbin and #4 stitch length. I love the strong effect, almost a hand stitched look.

repost from Sweet budgies (which are so fun to draw!) 🐦 When I was much younger, my siblings and I got a cute budgie as a companion for my grandfather. He named the wee fella, 'Pete'. Not the most common of names, perhaps but Pete didn't mind! He was a very chirpy little guy.
