The Yale Guidepost The Guidepost is a Yale undergraduate journal of short stories published semi-annually. All submissions are reviewed anonymously.

The Guidepost is a new undergraduate journal founded by Caroline Wray '17 and Irene Connelly '17 and sponsored by Branford College. "My short stories are like soft shadows I have set out in the world, faint footprints I have left. I remember exactly where I set down each and every one of them, and how I felt when I did. Short stories are like guideposts to my heart…" --Haruki Murakami

Wondering what to do over fall break? Send your short fiction to The Guidepost at [email protected]!
The deadline for our fall issue is just a few days after we get back, so there's no better time to write and submit.
