Stockholm’s own XIAO just dropped Control via Twelve Gauge Records / Deathwish Inc. and it’s a scathing 25-minute manifesto against politics, labor exploitation, and performative solidarity.

Recorded by Jörgen “Jugglo” Wall, mixed by Ben Jones (PEST CONTROL), this record shreds through power structures with help from a killer guest lineup.

XIAO stays rooted in DIY while confronting every layer of systemic decay.

Excited to share that our latest release is none other than Xiao’s debut LP, Control!

XIAO is a Stockholm hardcore band blending powerviolence ferocity with modern hardcore urgency. Following their EPs PAIN (2021) and BURN (2023), their debut full-length, CONTROL, drops May 2nd, 2025 on Twelve Gauge Records. Recorded by Jörgen “Jugglo” Wall and mixed by Ben Jones (Pest Control), the album features Lifecrusher, Entry, Blood Sermon, and others, delivering their most politically charged work yet.

Stream the first single “Control” on all digital streaming platforms as well as on the recent premier on Decibel magazine.

The LP is now up for pre-order on 12" vinyl, white cassettes, alongside an exclusive shirt and long sleeve printed on Comfort Colors designed by Nour Havemose. Order through our Deathwish, Inc U.S. and EU stores.

Happy release day to Livid! COMPILED HATRED, the latest LP release from Kenosha, WI 2-piece powerviolence outfit LIVID following up their debut "Life Is Pain, Life Is S**t" and a split with Mutilatred. The LP was mixed by Andy Nelson and mastered by Brad Boatright. Clocking in at just under 16 minutes, Compiled Hatred continues to bring to life the band's harsh, fast and loud sound that bridges hardcore, powerviolence and grind. For fans of Magrudergrind, S*x Prisoner, Harm Done, Weekend Nachos, Nails.

⚠️ ATTN: RECORD COLLECTORS ⚠️ this year was one of the busiest in twelve gauge history which also made it the most expensive. I'm looking to raise some label funds and sell off any extras in my collection. Going to try to avoid eBay and excess platform fees so doing this old school.
