Did you know, the Super 7 WHL has a scholarship up for grabs!?

This scholarship is intended to support any female hockey player getting into post-secondary education!

The Super 7 Women’s Hockey League is proud to support female hockey players pursuing post-secondary education. We recognize the dedication, discipline, and passion it takes to balance academics and athletics, and we want to give it back to the community by awarding a $500 scholarship to a deserving candidate!!

Eligibility :

💁‍♀️ Gender: Female

🥅 Age:  17 to 25 years old

📚 Education: Accepted or enrolled in a post secondary institution, beginning in summer or fall of 2025. This includes Universities, Colleges, Trades or other recognized post secondary programs.

📍 Location: Applicant must be a Saskatchewan resident. The post secondary school may be anywhere in the world, but applicant must be a resident of Saskatchewan (address on post-secondary acceptance letter will provide proof)

🏒 Hockey Experience: Must be an active or former female hockey player.

✨ Bonus Consideration ✨ Additional preference may be given to applicants who have been accepted to play on a University or College hockey team at their post secondary school!

How to apply:

1. Complete the application form.
2. Proof of acceptance or enrolment in a post secondary institution (e.g., acceptance letter, enrolment confirmation).
3. A personal essay (500 words max) explaining:
• Your hockey journey, and how the sport has shaped you.
• Your academic and career aspirations.
• How this grant would support your education and goals.
4. (Optional) Proof of acceptance to university or college hockey team (if applicable).

📣 BREAKING NEWS: Four Saskatchewan Junior Hockey Leaguers have been named to Team Canada West's squad ahead of the 2024 Junior A World Challenge in Camrose, AB next week.

Congratulations to Luke Lepper and Koen Senft of the Flin Flon Bombers, Jaxon Herchak of the Kindersley Klippers, and Connor Miller of the Humboldt Broncos.
